The Goldfields Community Legal Centre (GCLC) is a NFP community legal service that has been supporting the Goldfields Esperance community since 1999. GCLC provide free advice, casework assistance, representation when needed, and community legal education on most matters relating to Civil or Family Law.

You will be actively contributing to, and supporting the team, in the development of community legal education, policy initiatives, law reform and advocacy activities.

As the successful candidate you will be supporting community members from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds in the areas of Family Law and Civil Law such as restraining orders, removal of licence disqualification application and criminal injuries compensation.

You should have exposure to Civil and Family Law and be able to effectively support and interact with our diverse community, including Aboriginal and CaLD clients, stakeholders such as community groups, other service providers and government agencies.

GCLC offers an outreach service encompassing the Goldfields Esperance region, to successfully deliver this program you should have an understanding of Aboriginal cultures and understand the impact of political, social and economic events and priorities on community outcomes.

What else will make you successful?

  • A genuine desire to assist disadvantaged individuals and families
  • Current unrestricted legal practicing certificate from the Legal Practice Board of WA, with at least 3 years post-admission experience
  • Broad generalist knowledge of Family & Civil Law
  • Excellent research, written and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to develop junior staff
  • C Class MDL
  • National Police Clearance and WWCC
  • Current Covid vaccination status

The Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre is seeking a female General Practitioner to provide high quality primary health care services to the women in our community through the Well Women’s Clinic.

Based within the highly respected Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre, you will be responsible for the provision of competent patient-centred care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.

To be our successful candidate, you should possess the following:

  • Registration as a medical practitioner with Medical Board
  • Vocational registration with RACGP
  • Current Medical Indemnity
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of and compliance with all relevant legislation and common law obligations
  • Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision with genuine empathy and interest in their needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a small team, adding value to workplace culture
  • Australian Government COVID-19 Digital Certificate or evidence (immunisation record) of full COVID-19 vaccination including Booster Vaccination as per the current Public Health Mandate

Gold Bean Mobile Cafe have just launched their 3rd van and are on the lookout for caffeine gods & goddesses to join their team. To be successful you need to be passionate about coffee – Gold Bean use fresh coffee beans, no push button vending coffee in their vans, however on going coffee training will be provided

In addition to making a killer coffee, you’ll serve fresh food and snacks and have a great personality. Naturally, you will be required to have a current MDL and an excellent driving record.

These positions will be approx 30 hours per week on a casual basis, the rate is $30 per hour and the customer connections you’ll make are free ❤️

Versatile Plant Hire & Contracting are seeking experienced small Machinery Operators to join their small team of experienced operators based in Kalgoorlie.

Working various rosters based upon our clients needs, you should have experience operating small ancillary equipment such as wheeled excavators, bobcats, rigid trucks and graders. 

These positions are ideally suited to persons with experience in civil operations, our long term contracts are responsible for the moving of dirt related to exploration and environment operations, construction and maintenance of dams and turkey nests, and, clearing for the commencement of construction projects.

Ideally you’d have a mechanical aptitude to undertake basic daily maintenance & fault diagnosis, a strong work ethic, the ability to work well within a small team, minimum HR MDL & the willingness to undertake site access requirements such as police & medical clearances.
