The Goldfields Community Legal Centre (GCLC) is a NFP community legal service that has been supporting the Goldfields Esperance community since 1999. GCLC provide free advice, casework assistance, representation when needed, and community legal education on most matters relating to Civil or Family Law.

You will be actively contributing to, and supporting the team, in the development of community legal education, policy initiatives, law reform and advocacy activities.

As the successful candidate you will be supporting community members from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds in the areas of Family Law and Civil Law such as restraining orders, removal of licence disqualification application and criminal injuries compensation.

You should have exposure to Civil and Family Law and be able to effectively support and interact with our diverse community, including Aboriginal and CaLD clients, stakeholders such as community groups, other service providers and government agencies.

GCLC offers an outreach service encompassing the Goldfields Esperance region, to successfully deliver this program you should have an understanding of Aboriginal cultures and understand the impact of political, social and economic events and priorities on community outcomes.

What else will make you successful?

  • A genuine desire to assist disadvantaged individuals and families
  • Current unrestricted legal practicing certificate from the Legal Practice Board of WA, with at least 3 years post-admission experience
  • Broad generalist knowledge of Family & Civil Law
  • Excellent research, written and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to develop junior staff
  • C Class MDL
  • National Police Clearance and WWCC
  • Current Covid vaccination status

Bundarra Contracting is seeking a HD Fitter to maintain their fleet of surface machinery based across several sites in the Northern Goldfields region. (Primarily CAT equipment)

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Recognised trade qualification (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
  • Ability to fault find, attend to breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
  • A strong safety focus
  • The ability to work well within a small, culturally diverse team
  • C class MDL (minimum)
  • Ability to pass site access requirements such as National Police Clearance, medical & drug & alcohol screening

The Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre is seeking a female General Practitioner to provide high quality primary health care services to the women in our community through the Well Women’s Clinic.

Based within the highly respected Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre, you will be responsible for the provision of competent patient-centred care that addresses health needs and promotes wellness.

To be our successful candidate, you should possess the following:

  • Registration as a medical practitioner with Medical Board
  • Vocational registration with RACGP

Gold Bean Mobile Cafe have just launched their 3rd van and are on the lookout for caffeine gods & goddesses to join their team. To be successful you need to be passionate about coffee – Gold Bean use fresh coffee beans, no push button vending coffee in their vans, however on going coffee training will be provided

In addition to making a killer coffee, you’ll serve fresh food and snacks and have a great personality. Naturally, you will be required to have a current MDL and an excellent driving record.

Site Supervisor | Jaguar Mine Site | Bundarra Contracting

Due to internal promotion, our client Bundarra Contracting is recruiting a Site Supervisor based at the Jaguar Mine Site in the Northern Goldfields.

This position is offered as DIDO from Kalgoorlie / FIFO from Perth, accommodation is provided in a quiet & well facilitated mine site village.

Working an 8/6 roster, as the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of the site based operations including liaison with the client, logistics and reporting
  • Operation of machinery where required – PM Road trains, side tipper trailers, loaders, water cart, grader
  • Lead a strong safety culture and uphold the values of Bundarra Contracting
  • Support and coach employees to develop skill and maintain a positive workplace culture

To be successful in this position you should have the following:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the operation of heavy machinery in a mining environment 
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, in particular the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 and WA Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995
  • The ability to build relationships with clients and other key players, well organised and able to use a computer for purchasing, reporting and monitoring budgets.
  • The ability to lead a culturally diverse team to the best of their ability
  • Current HC MDL (minimum)
  • Current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • The ability to successfully undertake site access medical requirements
