Jalygurr – Guwan Aboriginal Corporation is looking for 3 x Diploma Qualified Educators to join our early years team in Broome, a place where culture, care and purpose come through in the work every single day.

The job
At its core, this role is about creating a space where children feel secure, confident and proud of who they are. A place where learning happens through connection, routine and play – not just ticking off outcomes.
You’ll be part of the rhythm of the day. Supporting learning, guiding behaviour, building trust with families, and working alongside your team to keep things consistent, calm and considered.
This isn’t a role where you work in isolation. It’s shared. Visible. Relational. You’ll be contributing to an environment where expectations are clear, feedback is part of the work, and consistency matters.
You’ll be trusted to:
- create environments where children feel safe, included and supported
- plan and deliver play-based learning that reflects each child’s development
- observe, document and reflect on learning in a way that actually informs what you do next
You’ll also play a key part in the day-to-day standards – supervision, safety, communication with families, and working alongside your team so children experience the same level of care, no matter who they’re with.
These full time role’s offer a pay rate of $43.70 per hour, with the added benefit of salary packaging to increase your take-home pay. This means more of what you earn stays in your pocket, giving you greater financial flexibility alongside meaningful work.

- addresses issues directly rather than letting things sit or escalate
You likely bring:
- Diploma level Early Childhood qualification
- WWCC & Police Clearance
- an understanding of how children learn and develop
- a genuine respect for Aboriginal-led services and culturally responsive practice
